Today

It's Saturday afternoon and I'm hanging out on the couch watching television. I'm very relaxed, wiggling my toes. I've decided it's time to start blogging.

I enjoy looking across the room to the window on the far wall. The afternoon light filters in through the wood blind reflecting off the furniture and creates a soothing feeling. I imagine how even more soothing it will feel once I get the walls painted in colors that I will soon choose.

This is my color inspiration. This print is not yet framed, but I decided to hang it on the wall above my fireplace to inspire ideas for colors in my house. By the way, I did not hang it crooked. I just like to take pictures at an angle.

Annie and I went shopping earlier today at Macy's। For those of you who don't know me well..."that's a big deal"। I usually hate shopping, especially shopping malls। But today, I had fun. I had fun because I helped Annie pick out some cute outfits to wear on her forthcoming trip to Oregon. I don't have a photo of our shopping trip but Annie promised to send a few pictures wearing her new vacation attire.
